The town of Pag, with 2,500 inhabitants, is the central town on the island of Pag. Locally, it is located right in the middle of the island, on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Pag. The resort area of Pag has already populated the western shore of the bay. Due to its proximity, long history and the many attractions here, Pag has now become a holiday destination in the eyes of both Hungarians and many European tourists.

Zadar, the capital of Dalmatia, is located 45 km from our apartment house. The name of the town goes back to the ancient Indo-European language, in which the word ieudh means turmoil, undulation, from which the Greek Iader developed, then it was adopted by the Romans and in Latin it developed into the figure Iader, from where it came to the Italian Zara form. The Hungarian language took the Italian form, while the Croats borrowed it from the Latin (Iader) and in its language it was transformed into the name Zadar.

Novalja stretches in the northwestern part of the island of Pag, deep in a protected bay. It is the second largest town after the town of Pag. Although the town has 3,500 permanent inhabitants, it is not uncommon for 40,000 people to be in the area at peak traffic. In this respect, it is easy to declare that Novalja is a holiday hub. Not only tourists love it so much. Due to its sheltered port, it is a popular stop for sailors.
